Due to the current Economic conditions that have affected us all, the Motor Mile Dragway dinner scheduled for Saturday November 22 has been canceled. We are in the process of issuing year-end payouts along with all other awards and will notify winners as to how they will receive them. We would like to thank everyone for their support in 2008 and congratulate them as well.

Our focus is for the 2009 Bracket Series membership drive as the deadline is December 31. At that time the schedule for the Series will be released.

Motor Mile Dragway would like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday.

Motor Mile Dragway Awards Dinner will be Saturday, November 22nd @ 2 p.m. in the Motor Mile Speedway VIP Suites. The following will be recognized:

Super Pro, Footbrake, DOT, and Mean 16 Champions
Mike Bos Jr. Dragster Champion and 2nd place
Tuner, Mustang, and Test & Tune Jr. Dragster Class Champions
Several Contingency Connection Awards will be given out also.

We are very excited about the 2009 Bracket Series. We will have a total of 14 Bracket Series races along with 4 open bracket races. We also intend to have at least one $10,000 Super Pro race and one $10,000 Footbrake race. We are planning to have 2 or 3 special events including Nitro Funny Cars, Funny Cars, Pro Mods, etc. We are going to have a special race for our Jr. Dragsters as well.

Congratulations to Team Motor Mile for finishing 2nd at the Division 1 IHRA Bracket Finals this past weekend. A big congrats to Chris Tester the Jr. Dragster Division 1 IHRA Champion!! Also to Josh Camp for his runner-up finish. Chad Harris for winning the Race of Champions, T. W. Bittinger runner-up in the Race of Champions. Jamie Radford and Derrek Thomson going to the Quarter Finals on Sunday and Jamie also won the Gambler's Race on Thursday. Good job guys!!
